The Rural Development Administration has issued guidelines for managing crops and agricultural facilities in anticipation of heavy snow and rain nationwide from December 13-14.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, heavy snow is expected in the central inland areas from the afternoon of December 13, with snowfall rates of 1-3 cm per hour.
Farmers are advised to secure their facilities, remove shading nets, and ensure heating systems are operational to prevent damage from accumulated snow.
