The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced that it will significantly expand the scale of customized land support for young farmers and revamp the system.
The ministry will increase the supply of public reserve rental farmland from 2,500ha this year to 4,200ha next year, offering long-term leases at low rents.
A pilot project will be launched in Miryang, Gyeongnam, with plans to expand nationwide, allowing young farmers to engage in large-scale farming such as smart farms.
