[2026-04-21]South Korea Improves Emergency Location Accuracy for Mobile Carriers and iPhones
South Korea has improved the accuracy of emergency location information provided by its three major mobile carriers.
The 2025 quality assessment now includes Apple iPhones and shows measurable gains in location precision and compliance rates.
These changes are currently in effect, with further improvements planned through 2027.
