On December 14, highly pathogenic avian influenza was detected at a broiler breeder farm in Namwon, Jeonbuk.
The Central Accident Management Headquarters held a meeting on December 15 to review and strengthen quarantine measures.
Nationwide disinfection efforts around poultry farms and migratory bird habitats will be extended until December 30.

The Ministry of Climate and Environment has signed a postal collection agreement for e-cigarette devices with Korea Post, Philip Morris Korea, and the Environmental Foundation.
Starting January next year, special collection envelopes will be provided, and e-cigarette devices will be collected through the postal network.
This agreement is expected to contribute significantly to resource recycling and circulation.

The Ministry of Education announced that it will hold the first AI Talent Development Task Force meeting on December 16 at the Government Complex Seoul.
