Starting next year, the cost reduction period for preemie outpatient care will be extended to a maximum of 5 years and 4 months, and the cap on rewards for reporting fraudulent health insurance claims will be increased to 3 billion KRW.
This amendment aims to alleviate the medical expenses for preemies, prevent health insurance fund leakage, and strengthen post-examination management to enhance public convenience.
Health insurance premium rates and property insurance fee criteria for regional subscribers have also been adjusted and will be applied from January 1st next year.
