The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries announced the ‘Global Logistics Supply Chain Hub Strategy’ and plans to prioritize investments in storage and handling facilities in key overseas logistics hub countries.
Through this strategy, the ministry aims to support the export-import economy and establish various systems to assist logistics companies in expanding overseas.

Starting at midnight on the 18th, the toll for Incheon Bridge will be reduced by 63%.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has signed an agreement with Incheon Bridge Co., Ltd. to lower the toll.
This reduction is expected to save commuters 1.72 million won annually.

The government plans to operate the National Growth Fund to invest 150 trillion won in advanced industries over the next five years.
By 2026, it will support venture innovation companies, scale-ups, and regional growth related to advanced strategic industries and ecosystems.
Next year, more than 30 trillion won will be managed to support various advanced industries such as semiconductors, secondary batteries, and vaccines.

The Ministry of Climate, Energy, and Environment plans to support the distribution of 3.5 million heat pumps by 2035, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 5.18 million tons.
Priority will be given to areas without city gas, social welfare facilities, and facility farms.
The plan includes expanding distribution by sector, providing incentives, and improving related regulations.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced the passage of amendments to the Employment Insurance Act and the Collection Act in the Cabinet meeting.
The payment period for substitute workers for parental leave will be extended by up to one month, and the upper limit for parental leave reduction benefits will be increased.
Due to the minimum wage increase next year, the upper limit for job-seeking benefits will rise to 68,100 won per day, and the 4.5-day workweek support project can be entrusted to the Korea Labor Foundation.
