[2025-12-10]Mongolian Next-Generation Leaders Visit Korea

A delegation of Mongolian next-generation leaders from foreign affairs, politics, and media visited Korea at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The visit was part of the Korea-Mongolia Next-Generation Leaders Network program, including planned visits to various institutions and cultural sites. Both sides exchanged views on the role of youth in developing future-oriented relations between Korea and Mongolia.

[2025-12-10]Military Clashes Reoccur at Thailand-Cambodia Border

Military clashes between Thailand and Cambodia have reoccurred at the border, prompting the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue level 3 travel advisories (recommendation to leave) for the area. The special travel advisory for areas within 50km of the Thailand-Cambodia border has been upgraded to level 3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to monitor the situation in Thailand and Cambodia and assess the need for additional travel advisory adjustments.

[2025-12-10]PIPC Urges Coupang to Improve Terms of Service and Membership Withdrawal Procedures

The Personal Information Protection Commission examined Coupang’s handling of personal data and demanded improvements in terms of service and membership withdrawal procedures. Coupang’s exemption clauses and complicated withdrawal procedures were found to potentially violate the protection law. The PIPC has requested Coupang to submit the results of these actions within 7 days.

[2025-12-10]Launch of Advisory Committee on Diplomatic AI

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a launch ceremony for the advisory committee on diplomatic AI, chaired by Minister Cho Hyun. The committee consists of academic and corporate experts who will provide strategic advice for the successful implementation of the diplomatic AI project. Through this committee, the Ministry aims to strengthen public-private cooperation and continue communication with experts for the implementation of specialized diplomatic AI.
