The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced that it will provide 43.6 billion won in disaster relief funds to farmers affected by rice disease.
Rice disease spread nationwide this year due to abnormal high temperatures and frequent rains, affecting approximately 49,000 hectares.
The ministry plans to support affected farmers with pesticide costs, replanting costs, and living expenses, along with deferring agricultural policy loan repayments and reducing interest rates.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced that quarantine negotiations for exporting Korean dairy genetic resources to Mongolia have been completed.
Korean dairy cows produce an average of 32 liters of milk per day, ranking 8th in the world, and their genetic resources are already exported to several developing countries.
The first export is expected to begin in the first half of next year following the recent quarantine agreement.

ICT exports reached $25.45 billion and the trade balance hit $12.69 billion, marking record highs.
