The National Institute of Environmental Research has released the first national report analyzing urban greenhouse gas concentrations.
The report includes analysis results of carbon dioxide and methane concentrations at 16 locations during 2023-2024.
This report will be used for carbon neutrality assessments and climate change policy formulation.

Korea and China have signed an MOU to strengthen service trade cooperation and will discuss ways to expand trade.

In 2024, the number of newlywed couples decreased by 2.3% to 952,000.
Among first-time newlyweds, the proportion with children dropped to 51.2%, while the dual-income rate rose to 59.7%.
The main type of residence for first-time newlyweds was apartments (77.0%), up by 2.5% from the previous year.
