President Lee Jae-myung held a ceremony today for the promotion and appointment of military generals.
Twenty officers, including Special Warfare Commander Park Sung-je and Naval Academy Superintendent Park Kyu-baek, attended the event, where Lee stressed the importance of public trust and self-reliant defense.
He encouraged pride in Korea’s military capabilities and urged the armed forces to regain the people’s trust.
