South Korea is implementing a regional AI transformation (AX) strategy centered on four major science institutes.
This policy aims to foster local innovation, industry competitiveness, and AI talent through targeted collaboration and infrastructure.
The strategy was announced at the 5th Science and Technology Ministers’ Meeting on March 11, 2026.
