[2026-03-24]South Korea Launches Water Distribution Program to Protect Mobile Workers from Heat Illness
South Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor and Jeju Province have agreed to supply water and cooling kits to mobile workers during the summer heat.
This initiative aims to protect delivery riders, courier drivers, and substitute drivers from heat-related illnesses.
The agreement was signed on March 23, 2024, with implementation set for the 2024 summer season.
