President Lee Jae-myung and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi held a summit in Nara on January 13, reaffirming their commitment to cooperation for the next 60 years since diplomatic normalization.
The leaders agreed to strengthen comprehensive collaboration on historical issues, economic and security cooperation, demographic challenges, transnational crime response, and expanded people-to-people exchanges.
