[2026-01-25]Ministry of Health Acts to Save Local Clinics with Essential Medical Law
The Ministry of Health and Welfare has launched a demand survey with 17 provinces and the medical sector in preparation for the Essential Medical Law passed on December 6, 2025.
The government is identifying specific projects and budget needs to ensure the new special account, starting in 2027, is effectively allocated to the field.
Plans include building treatment cooperation networks and training medical professionals to strengthen regional healthcare.
