Gwangju pilot project

South Korea is conducting a comprehensive review of its emergency patient transfer and treatment system in Gwangju and Jeolla regions.
The pilot project has shown improvements in transfer efficiency and is being considered for nationwide expansion.
As of April 2024, the government is evaluating results and planning further actions before the pilot concludes.
