[2026-03-06]South Korea Expands Regional Essential Doctor Pilot Program in Chungnam and Gyeongbuk
South Korea’s Ministry of Health and Welfare has expanded the regional essential doctor pilot program to Chungnam and Gyeongbuk.
The initiative will support 40 specialists in key medical fields with financial and settlement benefits.
Implementation begins in the second half of 2024, with ongoing monitoring and recruitment.
