The Ministry of Justice decided to withdraw and waive state appeals for the Yeosu-Suncheon 10.19 incident victims’ compensation lawsuit. By the end of November, state appeals for 12 cases in the second trial involving 195 victims were withdrawn and for 22 cases in the first and second trials involving 339 victims were waived. During the action period, there were no cases in the third trial.
