The ministry plans to amend the guidelines based on international standards revisions, expert opinions, and feedback from public institutions.

The government has announced various policies to become the world’s second largest semiconductor power in the AI era. Key strategies include the development of semiconductor clusters, system semiconductor nurturing, and the establishment of a semiconductor graduate university. The government plans to invest approximately 700 trillion KRW by 2047 to expand semiconductor production capabilities.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups will invest 686.7 billion won to support export SMEs facing uncertainties such as customs tariffs. Next year, export vouchers worth 150.2 billion won will be allocated to expand customs response and logistics support. To assist overseas expansion, the ministry plans to set up Global Business Centers in 14 countries and extend regional bases.
