[2025-12-17]Ministry of Interior Signs MOU for Disaster-Affected Housing Support

The Ministry of Interior signed an MOU with the Korea Institute of Architects to support rapid housing stabilization for residents affected by disasters.
The agreement was made on December 16 and aims to provide support for the reconstruction of disaster-affected homes.

[2025-12-17]Awards for Outstanding Public Ethics Institutions and Contributors

The Ministry of Personnel Management held the 2025 Public Ethics Workshop and awarded 9 outstanding institutions and 15 contributors.
This year, 289 institutions were inspected, resulting in the selection of 6 outstanding institutions and 3 exemplary case institutions.
Gyeongnam Province expanded public ethics awareness using the staff portal, while Tongyeong City operated a core personnel system to reduce violations.

[2025-12-17]2025 Second Half Corporate Environment Policy Council Held

The Ministry of Climate and Energy Environment and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry will jointly hold the ‘2025 Second Half Corporate Environment Policy Council’ on December 16.
The meeting will focus on discussing policies of high interest to the industry and difficulties in the industrial field.
The Ministry of Climate and Energy Environment will explain the ‘2035 National Greenhouse Gas Reduction Target’ and the fourth planning period national emission allowance plan, and discuss implementation and support measures.

The Ministry of Justice has produced an ‘Anti-Stalking Crime Prevention’ video to be broadcast nationwide from December 16.
Amid growing social concerns about stalking crimes, the video aims to inform that unwanted attention or contact against someone’s will constitutes a crime.
It emphasizes the importance of stopping unilateral attention from the perspective of the victim.

[2025-12-17]ROK-U.S. Consultation on Joint Fact Sheet Implementation Held

Jeong Yeon-du, Director of the Foreign Strategy Information Office, held a consultation with Kevin Kim, Acting U.S. Ambassador to South Korea.
The meeting comprehensively discussed issues related to the Korean Peninsula based on the Joint Fact Sheet from the ROK-U.S. summit.
The two countries agreed to strengthen communication at all levels in the future.
