The Ministry of Education (Minister Choi Kyo-jin) reported its 2026 work plan to the public and the President on December 12 at the Government Sejong Convention Center. The vision for this work plan is ‘Basic education guaranteed by the state, an educational powerhouse felt by the people.’
To realize this vision, the Ministry of Education has selected 15 key initiatives, including universal AI education and fostering local universities. These initiatives aim for the co-growth of individuals, schools, and regions.
The work report was conducted at the International Conference Hall on the 4th floor of the Government Sejong Convention Center, and the Ministry aimed to clearly communicate the future direction of education policy to the public and the President.
