[2026-01-11]Revenue Criteria for Listed Companies Removed, ISMS Certified Companies Included

To encourage voluntary security investments by companies and strengthen the public’s right to know, the revenue criteria for listed companies will be removed and ISMS certified companies will be included.
Public opinion on the amendment to the enforcement ordinance will be collected from January 9 to February 19.
The exception clause will also be abolished.

The National Fire Agency announced that five firefighters received the 11th Korea Civil Servant Award for their contributions to public safety at disaster sites and in policy-making.
The awardees were recognized not only for their disaster response achievements but also for their administrative capabilities in policy planning and institutional improvement.
This award is significant as it acknowledges achievements in both field response and policy planning, as well as in fire research and administrative areas.

[2026-01-11]Korea-US Nuclear Cooperation Task Force Officially Launched

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an inter-agency meeting on January 9, chaired by Lim Gap-soo, the government representative for Korea-US nuclear cooperation, and officially launched the Korea-US Nuclear Cooperation Task Force.
The meeting reviewed key issues and tasks related to enrichment and reprocessing, checked the roles and cooperation systems of each department, and exchanged opinions on the direction and plans for consultations with the US.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold regular meetings to gradually review major issues and promote a government-wide response to create conditions for securing enrichment and reprocessing capabilities for peaceful and commercial purposes.
