The National Fire Agency announced that a joint meeting was held on the morning of the 12th at the site of the Gwangju library construction collapse.
The meeting aimed to comprehensively review measures for stabilizing the structure and safely conducting search and rescue operations.
So far, 2 out of 4 buried workers have been rescued, and rescue teams are continuing their efforts to find the remaining 2, prioritizing site safety.
Kim Kwang-yong, head of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters, inspected the fire safety management at the Busan International Finance Center.
The inspection took place on December 12 in Nam-gu, Busan.
