The Korea Forest Service’s Yeongju National Forest Management Office announced a pine wilt disease prevention injection project for 81.3 hectares of national forest in Bonghwa.
This year, 186 trees in Bonghwa were infected with pine wilt disease, a 166% increase from last year.
The project aims to prevent the spread of the disease in important pine forest areas and protect the Geumgang pine forest in Uljin.

This amendment establishes a foundation for the swift acquisition of evidence in cybercrimes such as digital sex crimes.
It also completes the legislative implementation for joining the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.

The Ministry of Justice has established a special committee to prepare improvement plans for the criminal law system and punishment framework.

This launch marks the first step towards a major criminal law reform in about 70 years.
