[2025-12-19]Government Establishes 20 Billion Won Safety Industry Fund
The South Korean government has established a 20 billion won National Safety Industry Fund to support early-stage companies in disaster safety and security sectors using advanced technologies like AI and robotics.
The fund is composed of 10 billion won from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, 5 billion won from the National Police Agency, and additional contributions from private and local government sources.
Investments will begin in the second half of 2026, aiming to enhance technology development, market expansion, and attract further investment into these firms.
