The Ministry of Science and ICT aims to develop an independent AI foundation model that ranks among the world’s top 10 by next year.
The initiative also includes fostering strategic technologies like AI Co-Scientist, K-Moonshot projects, and bio-quantum technologies.
The ministry plans to deliver tangible changes that citizens can feel, based on AI and scientific achievements.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Busan Metropolitan City announced the selection of 7,318 households in Hwamyeong and Haeundae districts for urban renewal.
This is the first case of urban renewal in local areas following the selection of 37,000 households in five first-phase new towns last year.
The ministry plans to establish the Busan Future City Support Center in the first half of next year and actively support the designation of special maintenance zones and other project procedures.
