[2026-01-11]Revenue Criteria for Listed Companies Removed, ISMS Certified Companies Included

The government has announced an amendment to the enforcement ordinance that removes the sales criteria for listed companies, includes companies with Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification, and abolishes exception clauses. The purpose of this amendment is to encourage voluntary security investments by companies and strengthen the public’s right to know.

According to the amendment, the removal of the sales criteria for listed companies will allow more companies to obtain ISMS certification. Additionally, the abolition of exception clauses will ensure that all companies are subject to the same standards.

The government plans to collect opinions on this amendment from January 9 to February 19. Through this process, various opinions will be reflected to finalize the amendment.
