The Public Procurement Service conducted a ‘Love Kimchi Sharing’ event as part of its winter support activities for multicultural families. On the 16th, Deputy Commissioner Kang Sung-min visited the Daejeon Foreigners Welfare Center and donated 200kg of kimchi to multicultural families, taking a commemorative photo afterward.
The Daejeon Foreigners Welfare Center has been helping foreign workers, marriage immigrants, multicultural families, and international students settle in Korean society since 2002 by providing Korean language education, legal counseling, free medical treatment, computer education, job training, and multicultural children’s education.
The Public Procurement Service’s volunteer club ‘Beautiful People’ has been consistently supporting the Foreigners Welfare Center since 2012, and in July, they sponsored a Korean sea experience event for foreigners.
