The Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Minister Yoon Ho-jung) held a ‘Safety Management Measures Meeting for Crowds during Christmas and Year-end’ on December 16, presided over by Kim Kwang-yong, Director of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters.
This meeting was organized to prevent safety accidents as large crowds are expected during Christmas and the year-end season. Various related agencies attended the meeting to discuss safety management measures.
The meeting focused on safety inspections and management plans for major areas where crowds are expected to gather. Additionally, the cooperation system between agencies was strengthened to enable prompt responses.
