The Ministry of Justice (Minister Jeong Seong-ho) held a meeting with foreign chambers of commerce and major economic organizations in Korea on December 15. The purpose of this meeting was to improve the convenience of entry for foreign businesspeople.
Attending organizations included the Korea Economic Association, Korea Federation of SMEs, Korea Employers Federation, Korea International Trade Association, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, Foreign Enterprises Association, and the American, Canadian, French, Australian, European, British, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and German Chambers of Commerce in Korea.
During the meeting, the results of the operation of dedicated screening counters for foreign companies were shared, and improvement opinions were heard. This was aimed at finding ways to further streamline the entry procedures for foreign businesspeople.
