The Ministry of Justice held the 5th Refugee Specialist Interpreter Appointment Ceremony on December 15 and awarded appointment certificates to 152 refugee specialist interpreters. These interpreters will cover 26 languages, including Kinyarwanda and Lao.
The Ministry of Justice organized this ceremony to support refugee applicants in overcoming language barriers. The newly appointed interpreters will assist refugee applicants in communicating smoothly.
Justice Minister Jeong Seong-ho stated that this appointment ceremony would enable refugee applicants to proceed with their procedures in a better environment. He also mentioned that the ministry would continue to seek various support measures for refugee applicants.
