The Ministry of Justice (Minister Jeong Seong-ho) announced that the ‘Online Foreign Employment Information Reporting System,’ which has been in effect since September 25, 2020, will be expanded from January 2, 2026, allowing foreign residents in Korea to report employment information online without visiting immigration offices.
With this expansion, foreigners can easily report employment information online without the need to visit immigration offices. This measure aims to enhance convenience for foreigners and simplify administrative procedures.
The Ministry of Justice expects this measure to significantly improve the convenience of foreign residents’ lives and stated that they will work with relevant agencies to ensure smooth implementation.
