A groundbreaking ceremony was held for the ‘Daejang-Hongdae Metropolitan Railway,’ which is expected to open up the future of the western metropolitan area. The Daejang-Hongdae Metropolitan Railway spans a total length of 21.1 km and aims to be completed by 2028. This railway will connect Daejang-dong to Hongdae Entrance Station, with 10 new stations to be established along the route.
The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by key figures such as the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Mayor of Seoul, and the Governor of Gyeonggi Province, who delivered congratulatory speeches. They emphasized that this project will significantly contribute to the development of the western metropolitan area.
