The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism decided to award the Order of Cultural Merit to honor Kim Ji-mi’s achievements. This acknowledges her artistic contributions and her role in the development of Korean cinema.
The posthumous award ceremony is scheduled for December 14th, with many figures from the film industry expected to attend. Kim Ji-mi’s family will also be present to honor her legacy.
