Kim Kwang-yong, head of the Disaster and Safety Management Headquarters at the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, visited the Busan International Financial Center, a high-rise building located in Nam-gu, Busan, on December 12 to inspect the fire safety management status.
The inspection was conducted to strengthen fire safety management of high-rise buildings, and the Busan International Financial Center is an important building where major financial institutions in Busan are located.
Director Kim meticulously checked the fire prevention systems and emergency evacuation routes within the building and urged the personnel to respond promptly in case of a fire.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced that it plans to continuously strengthen the safety management of high-rise buildings and will cooperate with related institutions to create a safe environment.
