The Ministry of Education (Minister Choi Kyo-jin) reported its 2026 work plan to the public and the President on December 12 at the Government Sejong Convention Center. The work plan was prepared under the vision of ‘Basic education guaranteed by the state, an educational powerhouse felt by the people.’
The Ministry of Education has selected 15 key tasks to achieve co-growth of individuals, schools, and regions through education. These tasks include universal AI education and fostering local universities, among other areas.
