요약 본문

The National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (NRICH) under the Cultural Heritage Administration has won the Prime Minister’s Commendation at the ‘2025 Industrial Technology Promotion Merit’ government awards organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. The government awards, held annually, aim to promote national consensus on the importance of industrial technology and publicize the excellence of our technology.

This award acknowledges the successful commercialization of Caratfund’s ‘Arch3D Liner’, developed through NRICH’s research projects since 2021. ‘Arch3D Liner’ is a software specializing in creating diagrams of excavated artifacts, utilizing 3D electronic data and AI to analyze the shape of buried heritage and produce digital measurement drawings.

NRICH received the Prime Minister’s Commendation for obtaining NEP and GS certifications, winning the CES 2025 Innovation Award, and securing market access through the Public Procurement Service’s Innovative Product Pilot Procurement program. The Cultural Heritage Administration hopes this award invigorates the national heritage R&D efforts and will strive for successful completion and practical application of the current project, while preparing for the upcoming project spanning 2026 to 2030.
