The ‘Mongolia-South Korea Next Generation Leaders Network Building’ initiative has been regularly held by the foreign ministries of both countries since 2022, based on the consensus on the importance of youth exchanges. The Mongolian delegation is composed of promising next-generation leaders from various fields such as diplomacy, government, and media. Their schedule includes the Next Generation Leader Meeting, visits to the National Assembly, supply chain and ICT-related institutions, and cultural tours including the National Museum of Korea.
On December 10, the 3rd Next Generation Leader Meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where both sides assessed the ongoing high-level exchanges such as phone conversations between the leaders since the inauguration of the new Korean government. They exchanged views on the role of youth in the development of future-oriented relations between the two countries based on close cooperation in culture and human exchanges.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will continue to solidify the foundation of the strategic partnership between the two countries through the continual exchange of next-generation leaders.
