The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced the opening of ‘COMEUP 2025’, the largest global startup festival in Korea, at COEX in Seoul. The event runs from December 10 to 12 for three days and will feature various programs on the themes of tech, global, and entrepreneurship.

At the opening ceremony of COMEUP 2025, Jinwoo Kim, CEO of AI search engine service company ‘Rainer’, delivered a message stating ‘If AI predicts the future, startups rewrite it’ through a performance communicating with AI. The event showcased innovative products and services from 275 startups, with participation from startups from 46 countries.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups also organized various events to promote entrepreneurship alongside COMEUP 2025. These included the Venture and Entrepreneurship Promotion Meritorious Awards Ceremony, the OpenData X AI Challenge Opening Ceremony, the Challenge! K-Startup 2025 Finals, and the K-Startup Grand Challenge Demo Day, offering a rich variety of attractions.
