The Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to invest KRW 686.7 billion to support export SMEs facing difficulties due to uncertainties in external conditions such as tariffs. The ministry will announce the integrated public notice for export support projects for SMEs, startups, and small business owners next year.

The Ministry will allocate KRW 150.2 billion for export vouchers and expand support for customs response and logistics. The customs response voucher will be revamped to be user-centered, allowing general participating companies to utilize it. Furthermore, the support for international shipping costs will be doubled to KRW 60 million, and comprehensive logistics agency services and free sample international shipping costs will be included in the support.

To diversify export markets and promote overseas expansion, the Ministry will increase the budget for overseas exhibitions and counseling sessions to KRW 19.8 billion and boost the e-commerce export market entry project by KRW 5 billion. The Global Business Centers (GBC) will be expanded, and a new global base camp program will be introduced. Specialized training for TBT compliance and rapid response projects for European PPWR will also be planned.

Promising export strategies will be formed for K-consumer goods, and regional export hubs for K-beauty will be established, focusing on local governments to support product exhibitions, experiences, and buyer consultations. The Ministry will expand the scale-up and global market entry plans for startups and introduce a new support system for global small business owners, providing customized overseas market opportunities.
