Police National Investigation Headquarters Director Park Seong-joo mentioned the strengthening of efforts to extradite criminals fleeing abroad and enhancing prevention activities. Director of the Ministry of Justice’s Public Prosecutors Office, Seong Sang-heon, also mentioned expanding international cooperation and establishing a task force to tackle overseas phishing crimes.

Cambodian Ambassador Kim Chang-ryong reported a decrease in scam crime involvement of Koreans in Cambodia due to the establishment of the ‘Korea Task Force.’ Ambassadors No Jae-heon to China, Lee Seok-bae to Russia, and other ambassadors presented safety measures for nationals in their respective countries. Prime Minister Kim stressed the importance of creating tangible outcomes from these efforts.
