President Lee commended the military for maintaining its position and fulfilling its duty to the state and people during the December 3rd martial law incident. He acknowledged the social confusion caused by the incident but expressed hope that it could serve as a foundation for a better future.
Regarding the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, President Lee pointed out that the nation has not adequately compensated those who made special sacrifices for the community and their families. He stressed that honoring and rewarding such sacrifices is essential for maintaining national solidarity and ensuring that people will step forward in times of crisis.
This work report served as an opportunity to reaffirm the direction of military and veterans’ policies. President Lee repeatedly emphasized the need to boost military morale and strengthen support for veterans and their families, particularly highlighting the urgency of expanding assistance to those who sacrificed for the nation.
