The Ministry of the Interior and Safety (Minister Yoon Ho-jung) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Institute of Architects on December 16th (Tuesday) to support the rapid housing stabilization of residents whose homes were damaged by disasters.
The purpose of this agreement is to help residents whose homes have been damaged by disasters quickly secure new housing. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Korea Institute of Architects plan to cooperate to provide swift and efficient support to the affected residents.
Under the agreement, the Korea Institute of Architects will provide technical support for the construction of new homes, while the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will handle financial support and administrative procedures. This is expected to help disaster-affected residents quickly restore a stable living environment.
