The Ministry of Justice held the 5th Refugee Specialist Interpreter Appointment Ceremony on December 15 and awarded appointment certificates to 152 refugee specialist interpreters. The newly appointed interpreters can handle 26 languages, including Kinyarwanda and Lao.

Minister of Justice Jung Sung-ho stated that the ministry will continue to support refugee applicants to ensure they do not face difficulties due to language barriers. He also emphasized that refugee specialist interpreters play a crucial role in protecting the rights of refugee applicants.
