President Lee Jae-myung received reports from government ministries and affiliated agencies at the Sejong Convention Center from December 11 to 12. This briefing was organized to ensure the swift implementation of policies six months into the Lee administration and was broadcast live to directly show the blueprint of the people’s sovereignty government to the public.
President Lee emphasized responsible administration as the top priority in state affairs, instructing the government to first pay part of the deposit to victims of rental fraud and then exercise the right of indemnity. He also stated that it is unacceptable to delay administration due to simple budget or manpower shortages.
President Lee repeatedly stressed fair governance, calling for the elimination of unfair practices such as discrimination between regular and non-regular workers and the lowest bid practices. He pointed out the abuse of the seized property disposal system by the National Tax Service and the issues with the evaluation method of government R&D, urging not to neglect acts that undermine fairness.
President Lee directed active administration from all ministries and related agencies, especially in matters related to the safety and security of the people. He also ordered stronger economic sanctions for repeated and serious personal information leaks, while expressing deep trust and encouragement to public officials.
